I wanted to blog about this looong time ago. nana and i were in Watsons sometime back when the sales lady told us about the membership card. Watsons now has a membership card!
BUT... let's see..
They states> every $5 spent = 1 point every 20 points = $1 cash rebate
sounds COOL
in other words,
every $5 spent = 1 bonus point 20 bonus points = must spend $100 spent $100 = $1 cash rebate
to earn back your $5 card fee, you first gotta spend $500.
that means, after you got your membership card, to SAVE $5, you first gotta spend $1000.
Of course it has to be a lifetime membership. who spends $1000 in Watsons every year? the marketing peeps ought to be shot.
ok, i know they gives alot of vounchers and bonus points for birthday month etc, but is it worth all the trouble?
